The Interim

Well, I'm home. Tonight marks my fifth consecutive night in the same bed -- mine -- which is something I haven't done in a month and a half. I didn't finish posting from my trip until today because of other things going on. I hope you have enjoyed the first part of the saga. If my accounts have touched you in some way, let me remind you that I have never turned down remuneration. I accept cash, currency hedges, airline miles, eBay-able items, and I am one of the few places these days that will accept personal checks without making you write your DL or SS numbers on them.

The book is not yet totally closed on Australia and New Zealand. Look here in the next few days for an upcoming post with a summary of the trip, highlights and high-level takeaways, a "best of/worst of," and anything else I think might be of interest.

But... don't delete that bookmark! I leave again on April 21 to head east, so check back here then for the next episode. Where will David go? What will he do? What will he eat? And do Bedouins have A/C in their tents? Stay tuned for answers to those questions and more.

This world is a big place, and I'm always game to go explore.

I'm still waiting on that how-to section. ;-) Good luck on your exam!

Definitely keep up the posts, I just caught up on all of them and I can't wait to read the ones from Europe!
