Today we traveled from Cairns to Auckland, NZ. Yeah, that’s about it. A flight to Sydney, a 6-hr layover, and a flight to Auckland. The only other news is that I left my book in the seatback pocket, which made me really mad. (I highly recommend Stephen Ambrose’s Rise of Globalism about U.S. foreign policy, though I give all his books an asterisk after he plagiarized.)
This past semester I had a prof who commented that “the Aussies and Limeys hate it when you get them confused.” People in the class got a puzzled look until he was asked if he actually meant Kiwis.
